Day 5: Amunì compà, Uma & Marco race to Sicily! 34.16km from Yverdon les Bains to Lausanne

For me, every ultra is like a "bonus life" in fast-forward. You don't know where your thoughts will take you. But you know that at the end, there will be a different, new, and hopefully better version of yourself.

The route:

The fifth stage, on April 25, 2025, takes us from the center of Yverdon directly to Lausanne on Lake Geneva.

Good? Bad? Ugly?

Cool but sunny – wonderful for runners! We enjoy the changing landscapes, the encounters with other runners and dogs, and the short stops at small bakeries.
Today we traveled primarily on narrow back roads. Contrary to expectations, these were very busy and not entirely safe. Starting tomorrow, we'll be embarking on the Via Francigena pilgrimage route!
A total distance of 34.16km and 290 meters of elevation.
