Meet Uma
Uma is a playful and energetic Malinois dog (*3.10.2016) with a heart of gold. Uma loves to go for a run every day, explore the beautiful Swiss forests with her horse buddy Tommy and greet everyone with a wagging tail. Uma is an ultra marathon animal. At the age of two, she completed a 100km non-stop race in the Thuringian Forest. Uma's friendly nature and boundless energy inspire a brand dedicated to the vitality and balance of dogs around the world.
Meet Marco
Marco Giuoco (*1965) is a dedicated Swiss ultramarathon runner who tackles some of the toughest races in the world, including the legendary Badwater 135 in California's Death Valley in 2024. After suffering from a brain tumour, Marco has become a passionate endurance athlete. Daily morning runs with his dog Uma are part of his training programme. The diverse and extreme challenges of ultra-running and the countless runs with Uma have inspired Marco to found UMA Pet Performance Food, a premium brand of pet food. A passion project!
