Day 27: Amunì compà, Uma & Marco race to Sicily!: 36km from Siena to San Quirico

The route:
Scenically, this is definitely the most beautiful stage so far; gently rolling, undulating Tuscan countryside at its finest. It's almost an overdose! Poplar avenues, beautiful mansions and vineyards, and ever-present, magnificent landscapes amidst absolute silence and intense fragrances.
The stops in the bars were almost a nuisance 😜
Good? Bad? Ugly?
Nevertheless, the intermediate destinations and stops in Ponte d'Arbia and especially in Buonconvento were a welcome, charming change of pace and, along with the view of Montalcino, were the icing on the cake for today's stage. Life is good!
A total distance of 36km and 623 meters of altitude.
